BPC-157 is a peptide – essentially, a short chain of 15 amino acids (amino acids make up proteins). In this specific sequence of peptides, it is derived from a protein found naturally in the body in the gastric juices and it is believed to help repair the lining of the stomach and intestines in its natural state. Synthesized for supplement purposes, it has been shown in numerous animal studies across decades to have many positive benefits, above and beyond stomach repair.
